The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a business burglary that took place in Southeast Washington, D.C. The incident occurred on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
According to MPD, the suspect forcefully entered the locked rear door of a closed commercial business, stealing property before fleeing the scene. Surveillance cameras in the vicinity captured images of the suspect, which are being shared as part of the MPD’s investigation.
Authorities urge anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident to reach out.
