The Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with a homicide that occurred on 15th Street in Northwest. The incident, which took place early in the morning on August 4, 2026, resulted in the death of 23-year-old Xavier Fogle, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2600 block of 15th Street.
Officers from the Third District responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 4:25 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Fogle, who was pronounced dead at the scene by DC Fire and EMS personnel after no signs of life were detected.
Following an investigation, the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 46-year-old Tim McCrae and 48-year-old Henry Buchanan, both residents of Northwest, DC, on September 30, 2026. The two individuals face charges of First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated) in relation to Fogle’s death.
The arrests mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting, as the Metropolitan Police Department continues to seek justice for the victim and answers for the community affected by the violence.
