MPD Seeking Persons of Interest in Northeast Armed Burglaries

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying multiple persons of interest in two armed burglaries that occurred in Northeast.

On Saturday September 19, 2026, at approximately 5:51 a.m. the persons of interest forced entry into an occupied home in the 1900 block of D Street, Northeast. The persons of interest who were armed with a firearm found the resident in the basement of the home and stole property from the victim to include their vehicle keys. The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered. CCN 26133772

Two of the persons of interest were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:

On Friday, October 2, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m., the persons of interest knocked on the victims’ door at their home in the 1000 block of Sigsbee Place, Northeast, and forced their way inside. Once inside, the persons of interest took vehicle keys and assaulted both victims. One person of interest, who was armed with a firearm, assaulted one of the victims and attempted to engage in an unwanted forced sexual act with the victim. Both victims were able to fight off the person of interest. The persons of interest fled the scene in the victims’ vehicle before officers arrived. CCN: 26141076

The victims’ vehicle is described as a silver 2015 Honda CHV. It was last seen displaying a DC tag of FX2120. It is pictured below:

Anyone who can identify these suspects and/or has knowledge of these incidents should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
