Members of the public have the opportunity to participate in three meetings organized by the Council of the District of Columbia on Tuesday, October 6. The schedule includes a pre-Legislative Meeting Breakfast at 9 AM, followed by a Committee of the Whole meeting at 11 AM, and concluding with a Legislative Meeting immediately after. Agendas for both the Committee of the Whole and Legislative meetings are accessible through the Council’s official channels.
Residents can join the meetings virtually by registering for a Zoom Webinar. Those interested in the Breakfast Meeting can register here. For the Committee of the Whole and Legislative meetings, registration is available here. Both audio and video options will be offered during the sessions, and participants will receive a confirmation email with joining instructions upon registration.
For those unable to join via Zoom, the meetings will also be broadcast live on the DCC Network (Channels 13 or 18), through the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment’s website, and on the Council’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Additionally, a video recording of the meetings will be made available on the Council’s website within 24 hours of their conclusion. In-person attendance is also an option at the John A. Wilson Building, in Room 500.
The Council has noted that live interpretation services will be available during the meetings, along with closed captioning to enhance accessibility for all participants.
