The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a recent shooting incident. The shooting occurred on the morning of Sunday, September 13, 2026, around 3:06 a.m. in the 1900 block of 9th Street, Northwest.
According to the MPD, officers from the Third District responded to reports of gunfire and discovered three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported all three individuals to nearby hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, their conditions are stable.
The police department released a video capturing the suspect, which can be viewed online. They are urging anyone who can identify the individual or who has information about the incident to come forward. Individuals with tips are encouraged to call the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a text to the Department’s text tip line at 50411.
The MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this violent crime. Residents are reminded that their assistance is crucial in ensuring community safety.
